Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

Ideas
1) Submerged Reins — A heavy necklace made from thick seaweed woven together with small water lilies. While wearing the necklace you can breath underwater. As an action, you can pull the necklace off and cast the find steed spell with the following changes: it appears as a white warhorse with seaweed hair, it has a swim speed, and other benefits. Additionally, once per day, you can target a creature within range to deal cold damage to it. You can repeat this attack on each of your turns as if concentrating on a spell.
2) Frostcoin — This coin looks like standard silver piece covered in frost and powered snow. You have resistance to cold damage while the coin is on your person. Additionally, you can drop the coin into a pint of liquid to chill it. A creature who drinks the liquid gains resistance to cold damage until the next dawn.
3) Pteroscythe — A sickle made from pterodactyl wing bones. It has the thrown property and will return to your hand after you throw it to attack, and damaging a creature with a flying speed will reduce their flying speed.
4) Medzo's Gaming Dice — These cursed dice are the favorites of an infamous gambler. You have advantage on ability checks made while gambling with these dice. When a nearby creature you can see makes an attack roll, saving throw, or ability check, you can expend a charge and make a Charisma check to grant that creature a bonus to their roll. If you fail the Charisma check, you are affected by the bane spell for the next minute.
5) H'rethi Persistence — These thin sandals ornamented with glass beads allow you to remain unaffected by difficult terrain caused by sand, and various other benefits in harsh sandstorm conditions. Your unarmed strikes with your feet also extra fire damage, and you can create a magical area around you that becomes desert-like, allowing you to increase your AC, prevent forced movement, and heavily obscure the area.
6) Pamphlet of Prayers — A small folded parchment that is blank when found, but is then filled with a prayer from a deity of your choice from a cleric or paladin domain. Reading the the pamphlet gives you the ability to cast all spells from the domain of choice (up to 3rd level), in a limited capacity.
7) Dune Boots — These boots have scorpions embroidered on the sides and dusty, sharp rowels on their heels. They allow your to move through difficult terrain caused by sand or rocks without issue, and cast the spider climb spell on yourself that cause the boots to change into bug like appendages.
8) Occult Shears — A pair of daggers that combine to make a magical pair of shears. Items cut with the blades can't be repaired with the mending spell, and spellcasters hit by them make concentration checks with disadvantage.
9) Warband Pigments — A small tin containing a variety of face paints that when worn provides advantage on Charisma (Intimidation) checks. Additionally, when you are reduced to 0 hit points, but not outright killed, you can drop to 1 hit point instead. A half-orc gains advantage on their first attack roll after this or their Relentless Endurance is used.
10) Storm's Authority — This mystical potion appears as a dark storm cloud and smells like jungle rain. Drinking it allows you to change the weather, as if by the control weather spell, or you can instead throw it to cause one of the following effects: a freezing blizzard, a flaming tornado, or a tempestuous storm.
