Alternate Thumbnails of Winter Soldier/Practical Magic

 The Winter Soldier video was made as a companion piece to the Captain America vid that came before it. While Obsessed Nurse doesn't tend to be a lore heavy series, I think it's fun to occasionally have a mini arc in them, similar to what I did with the Deadpool and Wolverine videos. But here, it's more about the contrast in themes, colors, and where Bucky ended up in life as opposed to Steve Rogers.

The Winter Soldier video has a new Nurse that's taking care of him, Goth Nurse. Unlike the Nurse that usually appears in these videos, Goth Nurse is a bit colder, preferring to view Bucky as a weapon rather than the person he is. In this way, I wanted the viewer to feel more like a machine than person, and I included robotic whirring when the Nurse is working on Bucky's arm to exacerbate that point. The "You Are A Robot And I'm Fixing You" trope is a really popular one in ASMR, and I thought doing that doing it through the lens of The Winter Soldier would make it a bit more unique!

Also, this is unrelated, but man I love Bucky! The Winter Soldier movie is to this day still one of my favorite MCU movies (right behind the first Captain America!) I wouldn't mind doing another Winter Soldier vid, maybe using the Bucky persona instead! I'll think about it more as we get closer to The Thunderbolts movie, it looks so good!

Ah, Practical Magic. This is a video I've intentionally held off on doing due to wanting to wait for Spooky Season! Gillian Owens is so... well, she's A LOT! And this is exactly the reason why she's so popular even to this day!

It's no secret on my channel that I love making videos on witches, and Gillian gave me a really great way to take the formula I have for The Lovely Little Witches and make it a bit more grounded. She has a fairly tragic backstory where her and her family are seen as pariahs for growing up as witches, and her nonchalant attitude as an adult is her own personal defense mechanism.

As for triggers, I did some research on how to read the lines of the hand and incorporated that into the video. It made for really good, super up-close personal attention! Also, that monologue on love at the end of the video is taken almost word for word from the movie itself. It perfectly sums up Gillian as a character and was a really great way to show what's going on inside her head, despite the front she puts up.

Gillian is another character I may revisit down the road since Practical Magic 2 was officially announced! So, look forward to that!
