Medical Update

Since last year, I've been suffering from a large abscess in my back neck. So far, hospitals did typical treatments such as incision-and-drainage and antibiotics, but the lesion kept coming back. The abscess ruptured for fourth time in May of this year.

So three days ago, I went to a medical center for a proper examination (CT, MRI etc). The inflammatory tissue covers my entire back neck and part of my back head. It was determined that surgery is necessary. The operation is scheduled for August 28th.

On the bright side, the inflammatory tissue is at right under the skin, so it’s not deep. But the hospitalization after the surgery will be lengthy because of the antibiotic treatment. This surgery will get rid of the root of the problem. I really hope this goes well.

So, how will this affect Patreon? We don't know for sure at this point. Obviously, I'll need to be hospitalized before the surgery, but I'm not sure when that will be. It could be next Monday or the day before the surgery. I won't be able to draw after the hospitalization because of various checkups and preparation for the surgery. However, after the surgery, I will be able to draw while recovering.
