Marinka, From Havana to Burlesque
Added 2025-01-31 21:53:00 +0000 UTCI’m loving my book on famous Iconic stripteaser Marinka “the Queen of Amazons”. This story is of her finally “crying out” her story of being born different. She was a superstar of burlesque and left the world a better, more colorful place. As I’m unpacking her red gown for my museum, I decided to give her book another read. I plan on doing a book club for the museum and will definitely be covering Marinka story. So excited for all of it. To have her legendary presence in the museum is truly a gift.
