Join me at Hot Tawdry presents House Of Burlesque at House of Blues Chicago May 11 and celebrate the completion of my new Spring inspired Lilac and pearl Costume that I made upon my return home from PR to Illinois. I was inspired by the beautiful lilac colored flowers softly budding in front of my home in Illinois, upon my return. As much as I miss the beauty and friendship of PR, I’ve been missing my home soil and am so happy to be performing here in Illinois again. Here is a photo from practice today. The incredible custom made pearl nipple pasties are hand made by darkly darling and I made the Ostrich feather fans myself by recycling all the feathers from past projects. No new feathers at all. I’m so happy about that. I’ve made a vow to only use recycled feathers from now on. They last forever. They’re about 15 years old now and recycle several times. I have ostrich feathers that are 100 years old and still absolutely beautiful. I’m really enjoying creating more ecologically sustainable costumes. The body cage and bra are created from a recycled bathing suit. Many beads and gems are recycled from previous costumes. I’m excited to put her on stage and create more costumes using sustainable materials. These fans are possibly my favorite to dance with so far because they are so very lite and because I know each flaw and weak spot to reinforce, they’re strong for how flexible they are. Plus I love them because I made them❤️ one of my favorite fan makers who sell ostrich fans or do custom pieces is Donna Touch a great way to commission or make vegan fans is Feather Phase Out.

Ms. Danielle please don’t take this as a sideways comment!!! I used to watch American Pickers religiously just to see you take control of them boys and keep them in their lane!!!!! With that being said I also had the absolute BIGGEST CRUSH on you!!! I personally think you are absolutely gorgeous and you know exactly how to show off and let guys like me enjoy your beauty with nothing but class and respect for yourself. As for myself I couldn’t have anymore respect for you because you do things the way you do. Keep up the excellent work and I hope you come close to Raleigh NC , when I say close I don’t mean it has to be in NC. Thank you again for being classy and tasteful in your work.
