During this workshop we will be experimenting with basic movements and positions that will lead  us to perform a fluid routine. Different inversions, positions and transitions will all be explored during this time. Isaira and Yulietta will give exercises and tips that will aid the positions and routines. She will adapt to each participant and give individual instruction as needed.

This workshop is for everyone interested. There is NO prior experience required, we just require intention and excitement.

Isaira Noriega is a Puerto Rican artist specializing in Lyra Hoop (aerial hoop).
Having performed in the Circus world for six years now she is an actress and creator. Isaira also specializes in fire dancing, flow and contact juggling, acrobatics and comedy theater. She has a Degree in Acting and Psychology, in addition to a continued studies at the School of Acting and Creation Cabuia in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Isaira is certified as lyra Instructor by Cirqfit in New York and has taken Lyra hoop workshops with the recognized aerialist Julie Marshalls in Chicago..Yulie Padilla is a Puerto Rican professional Pole Dancer and Certified Instructor in diverse movement practices with a PhD in Clinical Psychology. She is also a professional model, performer and actress, with film productions such as "La Granja (2015), Sol de Media Noche (2017) and Rémora (2021)". She co-owns Siluetas Pole, Body & Mind, a private home studio lead by women to offer wellness oriented movement practices for all. In her movement classes and workshops, she combines physical exercises/dance based movement with therapeutic healing approaches in order to promote embodied and integrated ways of knowing oneself and rewriting our own stories.
