Green room antics
Added 2023-08-08 14:09:12 +0000 UTCI stumbled across this behind-the-scenes photo of me preparing to go on stage at the Iowa burlesque festival many moons ago. I felt so good, I had made my costume, I had practiced like crazy, I was surrounded by friends, family, peers, etc. in fact, my best friend Nicole, took this photo in the dressing room. The green room is where you really get to know people. You get to see them at their best and their worst. You get to watch them excited and nervous before they go out on stage, and upon their return, they are excited, out of breath, sweaty, ready to party and usually really hungry.
