It is so hard to know much of true American History that isn't provided in the textbooks. Champions and icons of queer history and Black, Brown, and Indigenous history are often erased, especially those at the intersections of those groups. So, to revive the legacy of the great Queen of Drag, watch this video about her majesty William Dorsey Swann.

What a strong commitment to earn respect and tolerance he must have had. Still a struggle all these years later for tolerance. Thanks for the enlightenment Danielle. π€πβ€π§‘ππππ€
