Forced Relaxation

I’m taking a day of forced relaxation. Currently I’m laying in bed with cramps and wishing I could barrel through the next few days regardless of how I’m feeling but today’s got me down. Neck deep in chenille blankets with my heating pad on my belly.

My movie of choice is “Secret Window”. I’m at the part when he realizes he has multiple personalities. It’s hardly a reliable resource for DID “(Dissociative identity disorder (DID), previously known as multiple personality disorder (MPD), is a mental disorder characterized by the maintenance of at least two distinct and relatively enduring personality states. The disorder is accompanied by memory gaps beyond what would be explained by ordinary forgetfulness.)”

Not reliable, but still it’s a good sick day movie.

I need more movies to watch, What’s one of your favorite sick day movies?

Sorry about the cramps! Check out A Very Long Engagement. WWI period French film starring the lovely Audrey Tautou directed by incredibly talented Jean-Pierre Jeunet. Highly recommend!

I hope you feel better soon. For me, I like watching game of thrones. I know it’s not a movie but I get caught up in the characters.

Been there done that but after surgery to remove a huge mass (non-malignant) I don’t deal with it anymore but there are other things to deal with now. I hope you have someone waiting on you hand and foot. 😘

Wishing you a very speedy recovery and much needed rest and relaxation. Take care of yourself and feel better soon. As for movies "A Knight's Tale" and "Count of Monte Cristo"

My sympathies on the cramping, but after eight months of heavy periods and three months of constant bleeding, I am SO glad I no longer have to deal with that. Even if my uterus did try to kill me. As for movies. I mentioned this one to you previously, but “Bell, Book, and Candle” is one of my favorite movies to watch regardless of how I’m feeling. If you want something more serious, “Inherit the Wind”, “Lifeboat”, and “12 Angry Men” are some of my favorite classics. I could probably name more, but don’t want to overwhelm you. 😁
