Tropical Tuesday: Accidentally on Porpoise
Added 2021-08-31 20:57:49 +0000 UTCWe woke up today and decided to take to the water. It’s been so nice having the time to do so. We were in for such a wonderful surprise! We saw these beauties swimming together and I knew I had to catch it on video. I still catch my breath every time I see them. I know I am talked about this before, but there are things that we can do at home every day to ensure the health and safety of dolphins. One of the easiest ways to ensure the safety of dolphins is to buy fresh, local fish if you can. Not everyone is going to be able to do that, as some places are landlocked and don’t have access to fresh fish. However, if you don’t have access to fresh, local fish, then you can ensure that the fish you do buy, especially canned tuna, is wild caught and dolphin safe. Every little bit helps and these majestic creatures are worth it. 💕🐬

2021-09-02 17:30:48 +0000 UTCHi Dannie, the video is great! I have a few questions for you. Is it common to see dolphins 🐬 in your area or are they a novelty? Have you ever seen them when you’re swimming or making videos? That would be awesome. How about sharks? Are there very many around PR? Have they ever been a problem? Have you ever encountered any while you were in the water? Here’s an idea for you to think about. Maybe sometime you can write a piece about the dolphins or the sharks to share with us. I think your patrons would like that. I know I would. It’s just me using my thinker. What do you think? Thanks.🐬🐬
