Shapes and forms under water.
I’ve spent the last 2 years getting myself used to being fully immersed in water for my performance art. It’s an incredible experience but can be exhausting due to the amount of prep and energy it takes to make shapes look easy.
Removing clothing under water is very tricky. If I drop it, I have to hope I can swim down deep enough to grab it without damaging my ears.
That’s the hardest part so far, getting through the pain of water rushing through my nose mouth and ears. The pressure can be unbearable at times.
The only way to balance it is to blow my nose under water over and over again. It can be so painful that I have to lay on a Paddleboard for a few minutes until it regulates. But it’s worth it every time!
