I met Madison Hurley aka Rosa Lee Bloom sometime ago when I hired her for a photo shoot in Nashville. I was headlining the Nashville Burlesque Festival as was she so we decided to get together and collaborate. Madison Hurley is an incredible photographer but also a wonderful burlesque performer and fetish artist known as Rosa Lee Bloom. So when I talk about Madison Hurley, I’m speaking of the photographic genius queen behind so many of the burlesque photos you see out there today, when I speak of Rosa Lee Bloom I am speaking of the queen of the Arkansas burlesque scene (imho) but either way, I am speaking about the same queen.

Over the past couple of years I have gotten to know Madison quite well as a photographic talent but have not had the opportunity to perform much with her until she came to Puerto Rico and photographed me here. We had a really wonderful opportunity to get to know each other on an intimate level and spend close personal time together drinking in the beauty of the island while learning to respect the dangers of it as well. While Madison was here the 6.4 cluster quake and the 6.1 quake happened as well as hundreds of aftershocks some that we felt and many that we didn’t.

I can not express how thankful I am that she is not easily shaken and has an innately sense of adventure. She won over my heart that trip and we divided to continue to create and collaborate together. I’m so excited to show you more of the content we are collaborating on as time goes by.
