2019-07-01 20:59:09 +0000 UTCDanielle, when I see you moving ahead through the wildly eclectic efforts you undertake, I think of two words (well three, but "sexy" isn't relevant to this conversation) - "sincere" and "courageous". You are brave to take on the unknown and you do it with the attitude that you are doing the best you can. No defensiveness, no apologies. And as you become more familiar with the challenge you are attempting to conquer, your level of enthusiasm rises to the occasion. You have a level of intellectual and emotional grace that is inspiring. When I got into IT more than 40 years ago, I knew nothing about it. It was scary, and it would have been easy to give up and do something safe....and bland... and boring. But I also pushed ahead and made it a career - which reminds me of a related fear I had to overcome - the fear of asking for help. If I had not been able to overcome that fear (as you said, of looking stupid), I would have left behind another failed effort.

As a millitary recruiter I learned that home schooling students have better values and higher levels of education. I really appreciate your series of videos so far on using your voice to help others.
