Were you hurt as a child? Are you so sure of yourself that you truly believe you won’t be laughed at? Your children must be so embarrassed... your parents accept you like this? Don’t women hate you because of your nakedness? What does this have to do with History? Do you really think it’s a feminist statement to flaunt your mom bod? Aren’t you too old to act this way..... And on and on and on and on and on........ Never, ever, ever hide your naked truth... even if there’s a fire 🔥 even if YOURE on Fire, vulnerability is a gift, if you let it be. The opinion of the peanut gallery doesn’t matter, they sell peanuts at your show, if you didn’t lead them to the crowd they now fleece those vendors would starve on their piety... plus, if they “got it”, they would be dancing bravely beside you. Let them cower in fear and avert their eyes. Those precious ones... so precious😘

Whether it's helping Puerto Rico recover or finding homes for displaced pets or the Batey Girls or Burlesque - you communicate all aspects of the things tnat are important to you. If you hid any of these things... if, for example you tried to keep people from knowing tnat Danny Diesel and you are the same person then that might be considered scandalous. But the reality is that I respect you for the multidimensional person that you are. Don't let tne small-minded, self-righteous prudes get you down....
