Silk Fans

One thing I forgot to mention in this video is that silk fans are quite inexpensive for a beginning Burlesque or Drag artist. A set of silk fans can cost a little as $40 while a set of basic one layer feather fans can run about $300. Props are crucial in our routines, especially if a performer lacks in classical dance training. Silk fans force us to slow down and work with our environment and they can offer a bit of forgiveness to a beginner routine if used properly.

Does the silk will flow similarly at different speeds? I was wondering because on songs that the up tempo speeds it would be amazing. Imagine if you could change the color depending on the music. Great videos as always
