The clicks were (if I'm thinking of the right noise) the rain drops spattering on the microphone (which was hidden under an upturned plate to keep it dry!)

2025-09-19 17:09:24 +0000 UTCA pleasant cruise. Are those clicks I hear from unadjusted engine valves? I never see people fishing in the canals anymore. Many years ago, my business associate in the UK fished in canals for contests. He said the winner was the person that caught the smallest fish. In the dreadful USA, the contest are for the largest fish. He gave me a bobber, it was the size of a small grape. As for rain, after years of draught, this had been the greenest year in the last 10.
