Having left my narrowboat at Beeston marina for four weeks, I now returned for a weekend to move it onto the canals and stash it at Mercia Marina temporarily (until the next move!) This is part 1 of that move.

They're very low on water with lots of closures and restrictions this year; one good rainy winter and it'll all be back to normal though!

Please carry on.π As an avid viewer of BBC, Sky, Reuters, etc. on this side of the Atlantic, there has been frequent commentary on the diminished condition of the UK's rivers and reservoirs due to atmospheric changes and some neglectful management (re: Thames Water). I very much hope that the canals are remaining in good shape.
