It is also mockumentary style and is about some Wellington police investigating paranormal happenings. If you want a glimpse of the two main characters in action, check out near the end of the movie where police officers respond to a disturbance with our group of vamps. If you do react to the show, though, it's best to turn on subtitles as their Kiwi accents are strong.

As you guessed this show is a parody of ALL vampire media, it is particularly influenced by classic hammer horror dracula films, Anne Rice's Books, such as 'Interview with a Vampire' as well as the roleplaying game 'Vampire: the Masquerade', but as you can probably guess there are definitley some Buffy and Angel influences thrown in from time to time. Also the Polly Nichols (one of Laszlo's bushes) was a real historical prostitute and its quite amusing she was Laszlo's favorite...
