yeah i figrued it would make me hypocrite to blame xander during the buffy conversation but be on willow's side in this one. i feel like xander wasn't aware how much willow was into him and was a bit tactless but hopefully now willow can properly move on. even though it was a shitty way for her to find out. giles is the greatest ever! love him so much!

Sure Cordelia has bullied her for years, of course she can be upset but she has never actually expressed her feelings to Xander until now. You might think he should have known but I'm not sure he did know the extent of her feelings (or he was being very tactless on many occasions if he did). I think he didn't want to tell her because of the history between Willow and Cordelia, not because he knew Willow loved him. Hell of a way to find out though :( Also, yes, Giles doesn't really have a choice who to support in this. Whatever his feelings may be Buffy is a 17 year old who's world has fallen apart and who will likely have to kill her first love. Jenny is an adult who lied about who she was and can far more easily look after herself. Tough yes, but it's the right choice, BUT 'she said get out' is one of the lines that breaks my heart as a Giles/Jenny fanatic :'( Oz, what a guy :D Xander actually having a good plan :D And the last two scenes. Giles being Mr Supportive guy, one of my favourites in the whole series - the fact he supports and respects her (even though right now she's not respecting herself because of the whole 'slept with Angel and that happened' thing :( ) And the 'I'll let it burn' line. ARGHHHHHHH
