I think the idea behind the ending music is that it's very after school special, and that's the idea. Everything was all good with them at the end, and I think they were just having fun with it. I actually love the song. LOL

2020-11-27 11:23:44 +0000 UTCyeah actually watching the episode a second time i don't think it was a mistake. it was a decision they made to change the sequence of events from how they originally had it in the script and i think it was for the better. i'm guessing originally the car scene with joyce was supposed to be either right after buffy found that the master is gone or maybe intercut with the gang talking about how buffy might be possessed. but it actually works a lot better where it is since we have buffy be withdrawn at the beginning and then starts to act out later so it would have been a bit weird to have her act out with cordelia and then at the bronze and then be sullen and then act out again with angel. so yeah even though the continuity was wrong most of the times an editor would just live with that if they can make an emotionally better story yeah i have no idea who chose that music at the end that was so random and didn't fit with the story whatsoever i'm glad you're enjoying the videos :)

I didn’t even catch the shirt continuity issue before, and I’m pretty old hat with this show. Besides that I just love your reaction/thoughts about the series in general. That incidental music at the end absolutely does sound so out of place 😁 lol. It does sound exactly like an commercial- even worse, an infomercial. Luckily they never play anything resembling like that in the score ever again. Anyhow you’ve been really fun to watch 💕
