SEEKING HOPE
This upcoming two weeks, we keep being told, will be a challenge the country hasn’t experienced in a long while. Due to poor planning and people not fully obeying or taking seriously the guidelines, this situation is going to get worse before it gets better. But I still remain hopeful.
Like all of you, I’m sure, I’ve been disappointed with my fellow man on an almost constant level. People are selfish and old and can take delight is being horrible to others. But I also have seen the greatest charity, the most shocking acts of kindness from strangers, not just in this situation, but throughout my whole life.
There are many times when I have traveled across this country and across the planet where I was lost, stuck, confused, in need of help, and a random stranger went out of their way to help me, give me a ride, explain a cultural difference, and more. Humans are inherently good, and I have faith we will continue to be.
With all the division that we’re currently gripped with, remember that the person on the other side of the aisle has the same needs and concerns as you do. Learn to be understanding, have compassion, and give what you can. And I’ll try to do the same.
With that being said, this series of Ashley is a perfect example of seeking hope in dark places. I hope you’ll enjoy this full series as much as we did in creating it!
And don’t forget, hroughout the month of April I’ll be sharing more often than I usually do, and with far more images! Don’t miss out!

As always, thank you so much for your continued support of my work! You make what I create possible, it would not exist without you all and I can never express my true gratitude for all your kindnesses and messages. Please keep in touch!
