KEEPING WARM
It’s been cold and rainy here on the Central Coast, and one can’t help but think of warmer days, brighter nights, of summer days that are just over the horizon.
I recently rediscovered this great series I shot with the talented Skyler a few years ago and it reminded me of just how much fun we had showing over the course of a summer. She always has strong opinions, is always energetic and fun, and of course is stunningly lovely whether she’s dressed to kill or simply slumming around town.
This particular series was taken during the second time we hung out, when she was already feeling quite comfortable around me, and we never ran out of things to talk about. She’d discuss boys, clothes, art, modeling, music, popular culture, etc., and I found her always down-to-earth and easy to be around.
And once you put her in front of a camera, watch out! She was a natural. Not only was she beautiful, but she was a born performer, writing and performing her songs since she was a child. So obviously she knew how to draw attention, how to harness that energy from whomever was watching, and channel it back to them ten fold.
I was always very impressed with this lady, and since I only ever shared 30 or so images from this series, I thought it was time to release the full series from the archive. Please enjoy!
