Schedule Update, and BTDEM - The Flamethrower!

First! Communicating often, communicating well.
Last week was my emergency "oh shit I'm about to burnout horribly I need a break" week. I did my absolute best not do ANYTHING on that week relating to BTDEM, and I'm feeling decent. Fairly recharged, ready to keep at this!
With that said, this is now my *admin* week, where I deal with the fucking mountains of paperwork and other administrative tasks around BTDEM. I once again have a list a mile long of things to do, from tax filings, editing, handling Amazon, getting paperbacks chased down, and more.
While we're at it, knocking the first item off my list: Beneath the Dragoneye Moons, THE FLAMETHROWER! Merchandise, merchandise, MERCHANDISE!
Tshirts! Hoodies! Posters! Stickers! ... and honestly, that's basically all I've got right now. Paid someone a bunch of money to get this set up (yeah I wasn't going to exhaust myself trying to get it all done myself... otherwise I would've burned out harder), and over the last 6 weeks or so they've been getting it all together.

Go get whatever you want! End of the day, I'm pretty sure I'm going to lose money on this, with all the various costs and fees I needed to pay to arrange it all, but hey! You can all get neat posters and stuff :) Enjoy!
On this week's to-do list is to fix a few labels that are wrong, get the book 10 artwork on it, etc. Also, I'm taking requests for things you'd like to see and I'll try to get it all together... or just keep paying the dude I hired to do it more to get it all sorted.
Back to administrative stuff:
March: Admin week should be the week of the 27th.
Free Trials: I don't think they're doing what I want them to do, so I'm likely going to turn it off as an option. This doesn't impact any of you reading this message.
Once again, I'm very sorry about needing to unexpectedly take the prior week off. It's not how I like doing things, I pride myself on communicating these sorts of things ahead of time and scheduling time for myself. It's not what you've all signed up for, and thank you all for your continued support.

Marathon not a sprint. Don't pull a GRRM on us and were happy. Delays with an end in sight are nothing compared to the despair of knowing your favorite story will never have an ending.

2023-02-20 16:40:03 +0000 UTCCool. There's one thing I'm wondering if future stories will go into. When Elaine first used healing it was a skill of the system. The mana grew and the control. There's no meditation, no touching the mana within you. You just activate the skill and at worst have to concentrate on an image of what you want to do. In other words, it could be asked, has anyone really used magic? Elaine has talked about fear of losing access to the system in another world and did during her trip with the fae. What if the mana is inside her and they've never learned to access it manually. In other words, they are playing a vid game even more than the levels and stats. If the mana isn't inside them and just provided remotely by the system, that's even more terrifying since you are completely at the whim of the system. You can't just leave and train your magic manually. I'm just wondering because this story has gotten technical with healing and organs and disease so this could be a great topic. Also support for everyone having the mana is Aurie was still able to use flame though without her skills in the fae realm. The reason why humans and other races couldn't is because they are not born an elemental. Keep it up.
