Character - Mack

Mack sees the ocean as a goal. He thinks of his body as an ocean, even referring to it as "his ocean", and wants to someday be as big as one. So huge and wide that his body goes off into the horizon. Home to hundreds of souls. Visible from space.

Mack isn't content enough with just matching the ocean in size. He has developed a predscape within himself simulating a beautiful sunny beach next to an ocean. If they are pulled in deep enough, those he consumes are sent to this inner paradise to just rest and relax. He wants people to be comfortable in there, to feel like they belong in his ocean. The more relaxed they are, the easier and longer he can hold them in. It can be a challenge to maintain his form when he has so many people inside him, but bit by bit his capacity has gotten bigger and bigger.

Mack can absorb prey directly, similar to just diving into a body of water. His natural form can move, bend, and twist around his victims like slime, and pull them deep into his depths. He prefers it when people join him willingly, but also doesn't mind it if they need a little "encouragement" to jump in the water. Sometimes he will intentionally not eat anyone for a while, leading to more anticipation when his ocean will open again. When he announces that the ocean is open, it isn't surprising to find a huge line of people ready to become more of him.

Mack isn't immune to being consumed despite his large size and goopy body. It's been said that he tastes sweet and soft, almost like ice cream, meaning that sometimes all people have to do is have a small taste of him before they want even more. That's harder to do when Mack has grown to the size of a pool, and more than once a glutton has found themselves being consumed by the goo they were trying to eat.
