Since I shared that timelapse of Rogue yesterday, thought it only fitting to share Gambit today. I think before this, I had maybe only drawn him once before? For a digital commission from well over a decade ago. Which I suppose I could just find and post right here since I mentioned it.

He's a bit tricky, but I still think I captured him okay in that more recent sketch. I've always been a big Gambit fan--not the least of which is he's not afraid to wear pink. He was even one of the primary inspirations for Antony in my Cleopatra in Space series (the other being Lando). So it was nice to see him get a little moment back in the spotlight last year, what with that Xcellent '97 episode and of course Channing finally getting to portray him in Deadpool/Wolvie.

Someone mentioned they liked that mini print of Rogue I printed last year and I still have a handful left of those in my shop. Letting you know because I think there's only like four left of Gambit. I might reprint both one day though. They seemed relatively popular. Should really do more X-Men portraits.
