Penultimate one for the year! Kinda wish it was the last one since it makes a nice end cap. Here's a close up photo of it:

Speaking of of gear (albeit a different type), yesterday I shared what my desk looks like working on these. Today I took a photo of the pens and brush I've been using.

The size 6 media brush is the only one I've used all month. It's bristles are fat enough for some blobby coloring but converge into a nice consistent point for tracing finer linework (like the car window and smoke for today's piece).
The Micron 02s are what I use for all my inking. Might be hard to notice but before grabbing a fresh new one, I put some scotch tape around the bottom of the used one. Since it's not completely dried out yet, it's useful for making very fine, lighter marks the newer one might be too dense for.
The Graphic 1 is more or less a marker. I use it for filling in larger shapes (like most of the Batmobile above). I go through a lot of these!
That's a clear gridded ruler beneath that "penciled" SuperBatober. I try not to use it unless absolutely necessary. I think there's an organicness to the artwork that gets lost when the linework becomes too mechanical. I've only used it for a few pieces: The speedlines for today, the rain in the Harley/Ivy piece from a couple day's ago, and I'm pretty sure one other one but I can't recall what that was right now.
I use old SuperBatober pieces that didn't quite print out right as hand guards while inking/painting and for making test marks.
The Post-it note is there to remind me to take a picture of the inks before diving into watercolors. Haha.
And that's that. Last one of these tomorrow! :)
