In Portugal we start celebrating Christmas on the 24th. We have a Christmas Eve dinner where we cook and spend time with the family. At midnight we open the presents and then on the 25th we have a family lunch and spend the day together!
Here are some photos of tonight! I've been recovering from food poisoning so I barely had any of the food, but it's okay!
This year none of my family is here, only my bf's family. So to feel a but more like home I cooked my favourite dish that my mom usually does: bacalhau com natas! It was so delicious and it made me happy!

Ps. We all tested negative for covid several times over the last week so it would be safe to get together!

We do Christmas morning stockings and presents and pretty much eat all day and enjoy each other's company. Hope everyone is safe and has a good time celebrating or not. Peace to all! 🤗

Sometimes we would do traditional Christmas morning, but the Eve nights were so fun. I’m alone this year for Christmas so I got myself a VR headset the other day and I’m completely escaping reality 😂
