EP30 Remasters

This month's tutorial is up!

I took the chance to do some fully real-time painting and talk about something I really enjoy doing as more of a relaxing exercise - revisiting and remastering old works.

Do you have a piece that you created a while ago but feel like it could be better? Feel free to draw a remaster of it and submit it to the "Monthly Videos" channel on discord under this video and I will feature it next month! Any questions are also very welcome in the comments below :)

(I did a bit more work on the piece after the video, and that will be up very soon as well!)

As always, thank you all so incredibly much for the support here on Patreon, I really appreciate it ♥

Thank you! The finished updated piece is just up :)

Will you upload the updated version of this piece on Patreon? Ooh, and I have to say that the difference is huge. I love the changes you made in the video and the final result speaks for itself. As well as thank you for the tips, they help out a lot.

You're welcome! I'm really glad to hear the book arrived safely - I'm always worried about shipping damage. It's a bonus that the box survived too! I hope you enjoy reading through the book :)

GUWEIZ

I'm glad your wishes were fulfilled :) It's a really fun process to work on older pieces and see how you can "upgrade" or even just finish them.

I keep thinking I've covered that topic, but I actually haven't! That could be a really big one, thank you for the suggestion!

Thanks for the video, also artbook arrived today and I am so happy! I love, well all of it but I also specifically love the fact even the box it came in has a print on one side and it didn't even get ruined in shipping. ^_^

omg no way i always wanted you to do a video revisiting an old piece and remastering it in real time haha. i dont think i've ever brought it up though so seeing this was a cool surprise

Thank you so much for the tutorial! I was wondering if you could talk a bit more about values/value control, and perhaps also share some advice on how to better study value in art if you don't mind? Thank you!
