Aisle (2021//2019)

So when I came across this older piece today I decided to give it a go to rework it for fun; it took about an hour or so and I am actually quite happy that I was able to add a little bit of color in to spice up the scene.
I think the original does make use of the monochrome quite well with the setting, but some parts felt a little too empty. Either way, the process of reworking this a little does motivate me to revisit this kind of drawing more in the future!

I love the ones with the girl and the cat just walking around in somewhat abandoned places. There is something soothing about them, to me at least. Keep up the good work 😃
