Doctor's Office (High-Res and Process)

Fleshing out some "in-universe" locations. Still not an expert at these type of illustrations, but I'm still figuring out new ways to make these type of compositions more interesting. Please let me know if you have any questions as always and I will try to answer them as best I can :)

I think it is in line for a future video! For high res on old artworks, I do plan to provide them to patrons as well soon, maybe a set of 4-5 every month as bonus stuff :)

Thank you! For this piece and for more specific settings like a clinic office, etc, I do generic searches like abandoned surgery theater, hospital operating room, messy clinic etc. It not just helps to give references for elements you already have, it can also present a high detail new perspective on a type of setting I only have a generic feel of.

GUWEIZ

will you do anything on character design, also is there a way i can access your old artworks, i mean the war series in good quality, i found art station is a good one but many of them are not available there. :)

Definitely

Even though you might repeat some tips, they are still extremely helpful, cause you let us see different ways of applying it. Thank you for your work!

Pink Koifish

illustrations like those really mesmerized me and id like to be able to get more comfortable with them so thank you so much for the insights, did you use particular photos for references ? ^^ thank you for the amazing work like always.

I'm glad I'm able to share more insight, although a couple of things I do repeat in one form or another because I feel they are quite important :)

GUWEIZ

I appreciate you finding a way to tell us more with every piece rather than repeating what you have already said in past progress post. It keeps me interested in every piece to come, and to see your thought process when creating the images.

I really like how you can see the rest of the building from the window. It really inmerses you in the mood.

Hello! Thank you, glad you enjoy this as well :) To do this "rendering" it is actually just figuring out and accounting for every surface and volume in the painting. It is possible to finish a piece like this to 95% just with full flat solid brushes as well. I think it is best to begin practicing semi-realism by simply using the brushes you are more comfortable with, but pay more attention to the volumes and 3D structures of what you are drawing.

GUWEIZ

Hi, Guweiz! Amazing as always, great to see you branching out to different environments. Also, wanted to ask; Do you have a brush set or what type of brushes do you use for rendering? I always find it hard to paint semi realistic stuff, because I usually only draw anime styled illustrations which are usually just flat colors.
