Monthly Report: May 2025, Lowest Lows, Mild Highs

I don't want to seem dramatic when I say this month was terrible for me, not creatively speaking, in general.
 
Family Emergency [Feel free to skip this section if you want.]
If you've read anything I've posted in the comments, or in any of my posted images you would have seen that I had an "Extreme Family Emergency" earlier this month. I think those were my exact words. Without going into to much detail, my father passed out and fell in the middle of the night due to an insanely low hemoglobin and potassium level from internal hemorrhaging. This was caused by stomach ulcers and polyps, something that has run in the family for a while and that I had personally gone through at a very young age. After properly calling for emergency response, he was taken to the hospital where he stayed for a week. Finally back home, most of my worries are out of the water apart from the intense adrenaline and anxiety spike that happened while I witnessed all of this first hand. It's scary, and I don't think I need to explain to you guys why that's scary. So far he's doing a lot better, he's checked in with his primary and they ran tests yesterday to make sure his levels are rising. Where he was at, it's difficult to recover in a week but I'm optimistic. He's been communicative, and complaining more about his bruises than anything else. Wish me and my family the best, and I hope those of you who have good communication with your families check in on them from time to time.

Art Progress
For the rest of this month I plan on tackling my Mochi Moshi "homework." If you know what I'm talking about, then you'll be excited to know that tomorrow is the day I hope to finish that part of it. Depending on how long Mochi Moshi's work takes, I'd like to start another free drawing, but I'm unsure of what it is yet. I have a lot of ideas, I'm sure you've all seen the list by now. About 14 of my written ideas are featuring my boys and about 15 are about my girls, which is why you're seeing a lot of boy drawings appear in my free time. Someone in my survey mentioned I should draw Persephone again since it's been a while, and I think I should! Speaking of--

Later in the year I'll have a fetish survey, similar to the one a few years ago, that will go out to everyone on every platform of mine that would be very intensive and ask you, anonymously, about all of your fetishes. At the end of that survey I will also give you a field to put a character for me to draw as a thank you incentive like I did last time.

Brushes!
Attached to this monthly report is a Custom Brush Pack all 100% made by me for use in Fire Alpaca! I've discovered how to make brushes, and how fun it is to make brushes, so I'll be including packs like this into my monthly reports as a bonus thank you for supporting me! In this brush back there's 3 brushes with two types of one brush:

• Noodle (Brush used to make noodles or 3d sauces akin to a kid pix brush)

• Studded belt (Yumian's square belt brush, also includes a "ribbon" version)

• Acne (Brush, when used on a Multiply layer at 45~53% opacity, will mimic the way I do acne. You'll still have to add a white shine to each pimple, and you can blur the edges of each one to really emulate the way I do it)

The Website
I have my own website with the domain YummyGoods.art. On that site you'll find some more commentary about my images as well as some cool stuff about my characters, all inside a package separated from the thralls of the modern internet. I plan on updating it at least monthly with small little things. My current project is a more expanded character page where each character has their own page explaining their place in the world I've created.
