The next arc is one of the longest ones in the series, so it'll probably span the entire cour starting July. As a manga reader, I can't wait, but yeah it really does anime only peeps dirty because it's a hella cliffhanger. Also, the way I see it, sexual assaults are in line with Dandadan's horror theme because it reflects terror from a woman's POV. Which is why they appear every time there is a creepy scene. There is no joke and is meant to be straight up "Nah, fuck that, I'm out" vibe

Terrible cliff hanger to leave off on...but as a manga reader I can say don't worry, next arc is WORTH IT (and still an overall great adaption too. Just a weird spot to leave off on, even if it kinda makes sense with where the story goes)
