Currently the company Gamma runs is making insane profits, but Cid/Shadow-sama doesn't have access to the profits based on how the company is set up. As such, Cid decides to with Yukime (the fox girl) to counterfeit bills to collapse the economy via credit crisis once people figure out the bills are fake, so that all businesses (including Gamma's) collapse. Then Cid can then rebuild the economy so that he can rake in some of that dough (if you noticed throughout the series, Cid is always finding ways to make money, so this fits in line with his past actions).

Could just barely see someone else in Yukime's memory standing in front of Gettan.... that being Cid, from Gettan's memory. What REALLY happened????

2023-11-01 16:29:38 +0000 UTCI mean...Yes this arc is pretty dialogue heavy, but still doesn't compare to Slime or Re zero lol. But short summary. Mitsugoshi is Shadow gardens public front. Obvs Cid is working with Yukime to take down both Mitsugoshi and the organisation that Gatten owns. Yukime's goal is revenge, Cid's goal is to create a new organisation with Alpha and them lot once he's taken down Mitsugoshi. (Pretty sure others will explain it better) but that's the quick run down
