What's Next?

You might be wondering what's going on with the mod, and I can assure you that progress is being made. We have more realistic cloud heights, multiple cloud layers, and improved lighting on the way for the next update. There are still some things to tie up, but things are looking up! (heh)

Improved Lighting & Rendering & Delay Explanation

As some of you may know, the update was scheduled for last month. I would like to apologize and explain that I had gotten very sick for a few weeks and also had some unforeseen complications with the cloud rendering. That is all sorted now, and I am hoping to get the new clouds beta out this month. I appreciate your patience and look forward to all of the cool screenshots you will take with them!

A new look

The atmospheric model and lighting rewrite is getting closer to making it out to my Patrons! I look forward to the screenshots that will be created with it in the future!

The new atmospheric model uses an earth-sized atmosphere offset to be above the world at 1500m to simulate realistic scales!

Volumetric Clouds Flythrough Test

An early test flying through the clouds, there are visual glitches that need worked out but the concept is finally here.
