Hello Sunshine

Earlier this year I did a quick testshoot with Freya Mayer in Barcelona. Freya is really a sunshine - such a beautiful and easy going model and just starting in the genre of art nude modelling.

I'm happy that she will join our events in Budapest and I'll see her again soon :) Hope to have the chance to take some more nice pictures of her.

Thanks

Yes it's an old recommendation. Nowadays you don't get it anymore. Still I like the wide format, so the only available Instax is the "Wide 300".

Sacha Leyendecker

Oh and for something completely different. I was reading you recommend a fuji Instax 210, but its sold out everywhere. Any recommendations for another Instax camera?

Marcel Rutten

Yes, i underexpose a lot, and then do the shadow recovery and some dehaze. But the misty vibe has probably a “cooler” vibe. That for the reaction.

Marcel Rutten

Ahhh, that's what you meant. Well, yes. I underexpose a bit. But you can't really save the highlights if you shoot directly into the light. These areas will always be overexposed. But that's ok because that's the characteristic of light. Also I try to have most of her body and face in shadow, because it's even difficult to save the highlights reflecting from her skin.

Sacha Leyendecker

Yes they constantly chance off course when you shoot in Aperture mode. But i was just wondering if you underexpose in this situation for protecting the highlights:)

Marcel Rutten

Hey Marcel. I never use any automatic settings. I set it all manual. Especially when I shoot into the light, I never trust automatic settings.

Sacha Leyendecker

Great shots! Can i ask you what the is in the first photo? I normally do my my exposure setting at -1
