A boring functional update post

Hi all

I'm sorry I've slipped back somewhat on the posting here, but as I explained previously, I tend to sacrifice this when time does not allow rather than work on the game itself. My life is back to being very hectic and I don't know what the next few weeks are going to look like.

That being the case, I do want to at least keep you up to speed on the mini-update. I've no hard target for its completion yet, but the soft one is end of the month. It will probably require some playtesting as there have been a lot of changes to existing events, including code streamlining and expandability, which is all planning for being able to do more in the future.

Events-wise, there are now a number of new mini-scenes to find in defeat mode. Some we looked at last week, with others there isn't much to see and others still of course haven't been implemented yet.

The swimming event is being remastered as part of this update, that's the new changing render up there at the top. Why? Because new stuff is coming for it, of course! Jess is up to her old tricks and can now steal your bikini in the same way she steals your skirt when you're out on the field. I imagine you don't need many guesses for how Miss Paris handles the situation. This scene will be available outside defeat mode, but with defeat mode on, she is guaranteed to get away with it!

The sat with Jess first period event has also been remastered, as it has a few new bits for defeat mode. It's satisfying bringing these old renders up to code, but I only have time to do a few each update.

I've also taken the opportunity to further implement the quest hints arrows, I'm hoping that they'll be done for all of Sapphory City by the time of the mini-update's release. (For practical reasons, I'm implementing them by location rather than quest, which is why they work in some areas but not others for certain quests right now.)
