Hello all. Today's news is not great I'm afraid, there will be a small setback with development of the game, hopefully not more than a few days, owing to the fact that my rig has fried itself.

First, some reassurances - all of the game files and the 3D characters and environments used to make the scenes are double backed up and completely secure. No game data has been lost. Second, in the event that the repair bill is big, or worse, that it can't be repaired and has to be replaced, I have a rainy day fund for exactly that eventuality. Your generous donations have helped greatly in making that happen, so thank you all ^^

I'm (very slowly) writing this on an absolute potato PC I found in my loft. (That's British for attic,) and as you can see, couldn't even make an accompanying graphic for today's post, as it'd probably take until after the heat death of the universe to render. Seriously, this thing looks like something from the 90's and barely runs Windows 10. If it was a person, I'd fear it was about to have a heart attack. I'm in the process of setting up a slightly less antiquated one so that maybe I can continue to work, albeit more slowly while the techies do their job and we wait for news.

So depending on how I get on over the weekend with this mess, I may be able to show off some of the renders I'd been working on before this happened on Monday. The most frustrating thing is that it's happened right on what was supposed to be the most productive part of the week. I'll keep you all posted. Have a great weekend
