We mentioned in the previous post that we had managed to get shadow casting and reception to work, but we didn't show it off. So here's some proof we aren't lying. :)

Her left side is using the standard Yiffalicious character shader, and her right is using this new translucency shader.
We have managed to completely integrate the translucency shader with the rest of our shader framework, giving the same structure and features we have implemented previously (tessellation, 2-pass skinning etc). It went surprisingly well to do this with no major hurdles. So what you see here is 100% ready for Yiffalicious.
We're not quite done yet with it though, as we want to get tessellation height maps to work with it for her [yet to be authored] dragon scales. But other than that it's just matter of incorporating it into the game so it can be chosen in the settings and used by the characters.
