Patreon Update--

Hi everyone!

Tas and I always kind of hit a wall with Patreon and usually need to adjust the way things work so that we can upkeep it a bit better.

Right now that means cutting our tiers back down to the 3 not offering physical rewards. We weren't sure if more folks would be more interested in the physical rewards (our last Patreon did pretty well but I guess it didn't take too much this time around).

Otherwise we just wanted to check in since it's been a couple months since the last time I made a post like this! We've been steadily up-keeping Augustine which we're both proud of! But we're also about to take a bit of a break after we wrap up this scene since we've been so steady on this story all year long we just need a little recharge. We're also heading into a month of fulfillment since we just got our shipment of dino loafs and are wrapping up the funding on a current running Kickstarter for Prism Knights.

We wanted to touch base a bit though since I know its been touch-and-go over here.

For: WHATS IN THE BACK ($7): What sort of things do you want to see more of? The two of us have been working on some of these projects for years and are still getting used to Sharing/not sure where to start so if there's anything you want us to talk about, any questions about any of our current works. Please shout out!

For: UNDER THE TABLE ($14): We're just about done a bit of a buffer on our new Lab Partners mini smut comic (first issue) which we'd like to start posting throughout the month! But if there are any characters you've seen us post about recently we're always down to doodle a little thing here and there (i can also post a couple more snippets of Dragon's Breath if folks were having fun reading that hehe)

Long story short we're hitting a little bit of a wall with Patreon (mostly we're trying to figure out what to post here that isn't Extra Work on top of what we're already working on). We want to offer stuff you folks would like to see more of. We're not really sure what that is exactly. I never want to feel like this space is taking from you and you feel cheated in some way.

Admittedly we're both in a 'prep' phase right now and have been in that phase for a while waiting for the greenlight on a contract that's really taking its time.

TL;DR Tas and I have been talking a lot about Patreon, its always been a bit of our white whale, we're never really sure what we're 'supposed' to be doing here, what people might enjoy seeing from us/other creatives. We're both neurodivergent as all hell and back so honestly the indecisiveness as to what to share really gets us more than anything. We've been working secretly and quietly for So Long we're trying to figure out where to even START sharing behind the scenes work.

SO... here's a quick rundown of some of our current projects we'd be happy to elaborate on--

Augustine -- this is the one you're getting the most of, we've got pages going up pretty much every week. I can also do more page-breakdowns: thumbs > sketch > inks > colours if that's something you like seeing more of? The end of this chapter will come with a few more concept pages about the world building so you'll already be getting those here without having to even purchase the book. We can also do a fun lil Q & A if you want to ask the characters of the comic a few questions we can answer via sketches? After this chapter is done we'll also be scripting Chapter 3, did you want to see a couple script excerpts/teasers for that when we get to it?

The Farewell Tour -- This story is gonna be Adult. This is the one featuring our Lizard Bounty Hunter x our Bee Boy Runaway Rockstar. We can't show everything in the base tier but this applies to the NSFW tier too, we're working on a lot of ink tests and character building and Lore with them both, is this something that interests this group at all?

Lab Partners -- We're hoping to come out with issue one this month (or start posting it at least maybe as a weekly/bi-weekly update to the NSFW tier. But we can always answer questions on our Whats In The Back tier for these guys too!

From Hell's Heart -- We're wOOoooOORldbuilding~~~ We've gotten a bit distracted away from Moby Dykes here on and off because of the current things we're juggling but if folks are curious about where this one is going shout out~!

Merch design/plans -- we're always planning like 500 merch designs, if you have any questions about the process & what merch-making entails shoot your questions I'm always open to answering them. I just never know where to start~!

Maybe this seems a bit scatterbrained on our end but hearing from you would mean a lot on this especially since you all are paying to be here pretty literally.
