Also Vi isnt a detective and barely knows anything about her sister to be able to guess where she might go after years of estrangement and trying to kill each other. 'Just search everywhere in a two cities about to go to war' is not an actual plan or effective idea to execute.

What do you mean she'd have to be a "mind reader"? That's just common sense.
