Sharing...
Added 2016-11-13 16:50:11 +0000 UTCI have found that somebody is sharing my WIP stuff from Patreon...
Well, sharing is a great thing, and thats why I share my stuff with you guys, who support my work and keeping it alive.
But sharing it whith everybody for free, even it wasn't released on the stores? Thats crazy, someone is harming my work by ruining my sales, and probably by loosing patrons. Is this incomprehensible? Or that what someone intentionally tries to obtain? To kill my work?
I'm trying to put my soul into my work. This is what makes me happy in this life. Please do not destroy it.

2016-11-24 01:58:14 +0000 UTCFor me it is more then just money. The matter of this all, is how much I will be able to do.

2016-11-14 22:08:53 +0000 UTCIt comes down to money at the end of the day. patrons are wasting there money if some dickhead decides to upload your content onto other sites before its in stores or wherever. I just hope to god this stops
2016-11-14 21:39:39 +0000 UTCHello. Just wanted to toss in my two cents... I'm with everyone above! Sharing is nice, but not when it hurts the artist. Being one who kinda found you with a google search that turned into a rabbit trail of ad-filled trash sites that finally had one with your watermark, I feel perhaps watermarking your work may be the best option. If it bothers you, make it small and hide it in your work! Having followed you from '09 or so, I know pirates and those who want things for free will find a way. I learned a long time ago this is not right, but some believe mooching a little never hurt anyone. The truth is that with or without watermarks, true connoisseurs of your sexy art will follow you if they can find you! I, for one, am glad I found you! Please don't lose heart! Don't let a couple bad apples spoil your awesome work!

2016-11-14 15:50:38 +0000 UTCMan, what you said about 2011 is true. It took me months to find the artist of Rapefield - X3Z. However, this is 2016 and he is now big in this area. Google "elf porn" and his images will be like 50% of all google search images. It's very easy to find his patreon page. Those who are willing to pay are sure to find it really quickly. So sharing WIPs, not even complete works, is bogus. No excuse for that.

2016-11-14 09:25:09 +0000 UTCThat being said, those were the complete works. Sharing WIPs is just wrong man. If you are reading this, please don't ruin it for everyone.

2016-11-14 09:20:51 +0000 UTCA year ago or something, I made multiple posts in vk.com groups which shared your work, explaining exactly what you just said. I advise everyone to do the same

2016-11-14 09:18:47 +0000 UTCI have feelings similar to those expressed by Jack Pinder - betrayal. And I'm only a patron, not the artist, so I cannot imagine the pain inflicted on X3Z by this act. This is a forum where kindred interests gather and provide modest support for an artist we hope to encourage, not to cheat him of potential income. Please, let this be a one-time case of bad judgement, then X3Z can resume fascinating us with his work, and we can resume discussions about elves in peril.

2016-11-14 02:16:53 +0000 UTCI for one are proud as well to do my part in helping out. I think everyone has made valid points and praises for what you do. I do follow a few artists and have seen this come up beforehand. Like 3DZen said, it has been done before and I am sorry to hear it. It is my hope that I'll finally be able to get the upgrades I need for my computer in the coming months, so that I may start making my own 3D work next year. Thoughts about piracy has been on my own mind for a while now and it's my thought to always include a signature to my work, so that at least if it is ever pirated, my work is still (in a sad way) getting out there. Now this isn't meant to encourage in any form, but the reason I did ever discover your work, is because Google lead me to a 3D pirated site back in 2011. I was bored one day and I think I googled something like "Elf" "Girl" "Porn" (because that's my kink) and after about the third lame site I went to being disappointed, I found a page that had about eight images from your original "Rapefield" set incomplete. I loved what I saw from only very little of what I saw, but though I knew that it had been taken from somewhere, there was no artist name to it. After months of searching relate-able sites in my off time, I finally found "The Other Side", your blog. That's when I became another of your fans in late 2011. If it hadn't been for that search, that piracy site and your beautiful work combined, I wouldn't be here today. I never would have discovered you or discovered 3D art until much later I don't think. I always count your Patreon members and you don't seem to have lost any, in fact the number does seem to grow slightly each month. I only hope that this doesn't discourage you from your work that piracy is about. I have already seen it in a few other artist, with one or two having actually stopped because of it. I don't agree with piracy of course and I never will, but it is everywhere and for every medium that I can see and hear. I'd never betray your trust nor am I sharing work that doesn't belong to me, but the sad truth is, it is because of piracy that I once discovered you as well. The only thing I share about you, is word-of-mouth my friend. Don't let this get you down. ;) Nene.

2016-11-14 01:28:33 +0000 UTCProud to pay for your art, my friend. Please don't leave on account of some asshole :( No harm in seeking other avenues to showcase your work. If there's something better than Patreon, I'd follow you there.

2016-11-13 23:09:34 +0000 UTCIt's why I pony up some extra dough for you my friend. I'd be very, very sad if you stopped :(

2016-11-13 23:06:32 +0000 UTCthats bogus! Hopefully they will realize the error of their ways and put a stop to this

2016-11-13 22:58:32 +0000 UTCThat's a dick move! If you know who it is, block them!
CC RENDERS
2016-11-13 22:11:02 +0000 UTCThat is not acceptable behavior, you should ask for permission if you want to have a few images to share to help promote this place and X3Z's work. So whomever you are that is publishing images without permission elsewhere please stop doing that.

2016-11-13 19:47:28 +0000 UTCSo sorry to hear that. It would of been nice of them to of at least waited a few days for you to gleam some advance sales capital. I guess there is a also a factor of who can do this first. The bottom line is that it is your work released in trust and they have abused that relationship of artist and patron. I feel slightly abused myself as it is one of us. There is a silver lining in that perhaps more people will see your work and the guilt of their free enjoyment will bring them to you as future patrons. Don't let this get you down.

2016-11-13 18:19:41 +0000 UTCRest assured, it's only talentless hacks who do this. They have nothing original to offer the world themselves.

2016-11-13 17:35:24 +0000 UTCIf I need to up my pledge, I'll do it. That being said, you are not likely to escape this sort of thing. There is not much of a practical way to do so. We support you and we aren't going anywhere. Don't let those people drag you down.

2016-11-13 17:29:13 +0000 UTCSorry to hear someone did that, truly a scumbag thing to do.

2016-11-13 17:25:31 +0000 UTCI had this happen to its a real D-Bag who does this stuff, it's bad enough after store releases people do it but to do WIP before realse is just a disgrace. Let the artists try and make a few $$ on their work before you undercut them or you will continue to see people leave this space. The amount of work and time put into thi sis not worth the money we make trust me and if you are sharing it you are driving solid artist like hitman, mongobongo and others away from sharing their works
3Dzen
2016-11-13 17:03:52 +0000 UTCBTW: Sharing the release work is also a 'No-go'!
Woodman
2016-11-13 17:02:06 +0000 UTCSharing your WIP Stuff is completely unacceptable! I can't believe that some of the patreons do something like this. Can you identify the bad guy?
