Tempest Boss Battle Map - Release

Greetings Adventurers!

As promised, I was still able to get our 1st map for February out to you all before the end of the week. This is the first map of the month using the voted theme of "Boss Battle Rooms." I had a lot of fun creating this one so let's jump in!

The base map releasing to the Barbarian tier takes place in a circular arena with platforms leading up to the center battle area. This map comes in 40x40 so it has plenty of area to place enemies along the rings and in the center for an ongoing assault. There are braziers with flames to light up the area and give it an intense look as any boss battle should. Along the rim are 4 entrances to have either your players, or enemy reinforcements join in on the fun, so let your creativity wander. 

The Death Knight tier will be getting a variant to this one where the entire area is powered by souls. You'll see that beneath the circular platforms comes spiritual light and flames rising above, completely overtaking the area and creating a blueish hue. In the center is an orb that is also powered by souls, or could be the engine holding them at bay, using their power to increase the Boss' own abilities. Destroy it, and perhaps it'll weaken your enemies. I hope this map helps paint an epic battle for your players to always remember!

The Necromancer and Legend tiers will be getting a chalice crafted by the artist César Ayala and authored by myself. The Necromancer tier will be getting the chalice artwork by itself with a transparent background while the Legend tier will be getting the "Chalice of the Wyvern Lord." This chalice is considered a legendary wondrous item, containing quite powerful magical properties. The Legend tier will be receiving this item also in digital card files. Additionally, the Legend tier will be receiving the "Demon Knight" boss token this week, crafted by the artist Ardian Hidayat. It will be available for download in 3 different colors!
