Video Production Update September 30th 2025

Last month I got to work on the Ape Escape Trilogy video, and things were progressing smoothly.
Unfortunately, after getting all the footage recorded and starting to work on the script I caught some kinda nasty flu, which has made progress sluggish since then. It's just about cleared up by now, but for the last couple of weeks I've been recuperating.
While finishing the script and recording the audio has been out of the question while being sick I could get some intermittent gaming done, which it's been good to have some uninterrupted days of, despite the circumstances.
If you're wondering, I did use the time to play through Silent Hill f; yes, the 4 and a half times you need to see it all. Trust me, I wouldn't have attacked it like that if I wasn't stuck in bed, but I figured that being stuck inside at its release was the best time to experience the game as purely as possible.
While there's plenty to talk about I don't know when I'll offer my thoughts. Silent Hill as a series is so weird now and in such a weird place that there's a lot of different angles you could look at this game from. It's hard to decide what that angle should be and I'll let the game sit with me before considering it. Either way, I've done enough Silent Hill video making for a while anyway.
Now that I'm better I'll try and mix in a bit of Patreon content for you soon too. I have a couple of quickie reviews I wanna post here about some indie stuff, so stay tuned for that. A new Backlog with Brit should be up soon as well.
Not much else to report, hoping October will be more eventful. Hope you guys are enjoying the autumn season, something about gaming always makes more sense to me from late September to December. Maybe because it's an indoor activity and the weather compliments it.
What horror themed games if any are you all planning on popping in this Halloween?

I've read all your comments but I've decided not to comment on any of your SH f opinions at the moment, since I'm still letting the game sit with me and don't want to give away my thoughts one way or another yet. Rest assured, they'll probably come out at some point though.

I'm anticipating the Ape Escape videos when you've got them done, but I don't want you to feel pressured to get it out on time or anything. Things take the time they take. As far as horror games are concerned, I'll be playing through Silent Hill f too. I'm only picking it up because I enjoyed the remake of 2, really - I never played a lot of horror stiff back in the day, so everything I know about them is second hand, you know. The Higurashi anime messed me up back in the day so hearing that guy is writing it is also making it interesting - though I gotta admit, hearing you have to beat it four times isn't. If the game isn't short and sweet that sounds like a pain. I'm also thinking of trying the RE2 Remake and RE7, which have been on my backlog for ages. I get easily scared so it's kind of a tall order to play horror games for me, but I liked original RE4 so much that I've been compelled to try some resident evils here and there. My friends think Signalis is like the second coming of Christ so maybe I'll buckle to that peer pressure too. All of this can get thrown out the window if I get sucked into that rerelease of Final Fantasy tactics instead though
