(Quick) Video Production Update June 11th 2025

Hi everybody, my goal is to get this monster finally out this month. Below you can see where it's at. I have about 1 hour of video complete over about 3 and half hours of edited audio.

While it looks like there's a lot left to edit, putting the rest of the footage in should hopefully not take a long time. The video is so long that basically every moment of the game is covered, so it's just a question of running down the footage from my playthrough and slotting each moment in.

I'm very excited to having this finally out of the way to work on less intense stuff. In the pursuit of finally getting this thing done I've had to pear back the Patreon content to just articles, since I don't want to distract myself at the moment with the production of other videos.

I posted a free article looking back on the FEAR games HERE and another comparing the old Devil May Cry TV show with the one recently released on Netflix for Insider Backers HERE.

While I'll return to produce Patreon videos after I finish this mega-project, I have enjoyed writing the articles and will probably do some more.

While it's been quite the trial making this Silent Hill 4 video, I think now was the time to do it, since later this year, we're about to get the first mainline original Silent Hill game released since I started these ANALYSIS videos, with Silent Hill f. At least for me it feels like I'm getting to finish a chapter when it comes to the original Silent Hill quadrilogy.

There's also quite a bit of new big stuff I'm looking forward to playing when it releases in the near future, which is nice. Death Stranding 2, Prime 4, Onimusha, Ghost of Yotei, Stranger than Heaven, maybe even Donkey Kong. Still a bit apprehensive about Ninja Gaiden 4 and I'll have to see more of RE9 before getting excited, but we'll see how it goes.
