Important info for Apple App store users

Some time ago Apple started requiring that Patreon use Apple's in-app purchasing system and remove all other billing systems from the Patreon iOS app. In addition to that, Apple started applying 30% fee on every subscription and purchase made through Patreon IOS app.
So if you have a chance, I would recommend you make your subscription through patreon official website using your computer (you can try using the website instead of the app on your phone, but I'm not sure if it'll work). This way you'll save 30% on every payment.
Like I said, this requirement is coming from Apple and not Patreon platform, and only affects members who are using Patreon app from Apple App store. Please check your billing statements to see if you are affected by this change.

yes!! i noticed the major price difference on in-app purchasing vs credit card payment when i went to subscribe to another channel, their price was so much higher than i remember it being previously so i went onto my laptop and the price was at it's original setting. thanks for letting me know the reason behind that, i thought patreon was bugging out for a second lol
