It's probably gonna take you a while to get to it, but if you enjoy FT, def check out Mashima's other two main series, Eden's Zero and Rave Master. Honestly, I don't remember much about Rave, it's the oldest out of these and his art wasn't as good yet, but I think it was pretty entertaining even though it didn't stick with me personally. The Anime doesn't adapt the whole manga though, but there's a crossover OVA between Rave and FT, so you could watch that to get a feel for it's main characters at least. EZ is his current work that just got a first season and I'm pretty impressed with the Anime so far, he's been doing some really cool visual concepts with it and the Anime actually manages to elevate them! I'd describe it as kinda Mashima's take on a OP story in space with robots. It's not a ripoff, but there are undeniable similarities, and the overall vibe is a bit darker than FT. Haven't seen many people talk about it, sadly, most seem to think it's just FT with a different look.
