You forgot that mai was forced because maki wants to be the best. They can't communicate because maki left the family in the first place while knowing that mai will be affected by her decision. Their issue isn't about communicating but rather how shitty the 3 main family where they came from.

2021-10-24 09:35:16 +0000 UTCYeah the whole cast is pretty great. I love how this series handles the female characters. Good writing, and hardly that much fan service which is a little refreshing. Animation is awesome as well. That kunai being thrown and really all the scenes with Maki fighting
