Gotta love Zoro's cold response to Luffy originally being hit. Their total trust with one another in combat situations is something totally special to OP, and they forged it literally the day after they met. One of the many amazing aspects of the show.

"It's not him , it's prorbably 'they' ", I suppose that sentence is hidden something huge that even manga readers don't know yet

"Thats the kind of guy Luffy will like", "I think he likes him" when i first read this manga i had a completeley different feeling due to them beeing complete different sides of the same kind of coin ("dreaming pirates"). Also yeah i love how OP kleeps continuity especially when you can see every single damage don eto the ship so far.

Its less that devil fruit powers are easy to get, and more that their direct path they are following is the exact same path that any person with devil fruits or strength also wishes to travel. Its only natural that they bump into others that are strong and have powers. The vast majority of the world is not on the grand line and has no reason for powerful people to travel it frequently.

"It looks like he got hit in the face thousands of time it blew up and never went back down". Oh AJ, you better remember these words of yours.

Come on AJ has a little more faith in Robin's knowledge!
Also they really should repair better their ship, but unfortunately as Usopp said he's an inventor, none of the straw hats has experience with this kind of stuff

Remember Devil fruits are still rare just less so in the Grand Line and there are less than 100 named ones

One thing I like about Jaya is how they handle bounties here. Bounties aren't meant to be a way to measure someone's power level, but are a way to show how much of a threat the government sees you as to them. But there are some people out there in the one Piece world who sees them as a power level system. Bellamy is one such person, And we get to see how dumb it is to think that way.

not just that, the amount of foreshadowing to everything in this arc, even just this episode.

No going to spoil but please don't forget the dialogue of this episode down the line. This is a long journey.

Yeah the guy with the pies really explained it best. "When you aim high, you come across battles that aren't worth fighting" Both Ace and Shanks want to meet Luffy again when they're all top pirates. And they both have that kind of philosophy where their fights revolve around their dreams and their friends. As long as those two things aren't in danger, they're the most carefree people in the world. As soon as Bellemy showed that he doesn't have dreams or high ambition, you could see Luffy's fist relaxing. He's just a guy running his mouth without posing any real threat. Those kinds of people are the real cowards compared to the big name pirates. They settle down in small towns and laugh at the big dreamers because in reality, they're afraid to dream themselves. Bellemy mentioned "those dead idiots" that died chasing their dreams. He laughed as he said it, but Luffy knew that it was the excuses of a man who became complacent. In the big picture, Bellemy "lost" the moment he gave up on dreams. He lost the battle for One Piece and other legendary goals and is already no opponent for those who still chase those goals

Yeah, Luffy was following Shanks' example, some fights not worth it.
