I don't think it was learning experience. Lemillion did the right thing. Chisaki would've got away if Mirio didn't slow him down

Mirio is just a great example of "The protagonist that puts in the hard work and becomes the strongest" but then gets shot down, because... thats just reality, and reality sucks sometimes

"theres some fight in DBZ that made me feel like this" what? 4 whole fights out of 500? lol

They also skipped over Nemoto’s (the guy who shot Mirio) backstory. It was only brief but it explained why he’s so loyal to Overhaul. Due to his quirk he kept finding out that the people around him would lie about things, when he questioned them they would feel awkward and uncomfortable and distance themselves from him. So he believed that Overhaul was the only one he could trust and the only one who would be honest with him.

I figured it was a long fight but for 15 minutes wow and nonstop rest is pretty cool that he could hold his own against overhall as well as protecting Eri...

So, a note in the manga that they didn't add to the anime to give this some context, Lemillion was fighting Overhaul for 15 minutes, 5 of those were after being hit. Yeah, he's a freaking beast and a real Hero.

Yeah, creator is a big Star Wars fan. You see a lot of references throughout the series. I mean look at All for One in his breathing mask.

Im so excited to see what you think about the next two episodes! Any idea when we can expect them? Also I totally agree, Chisaki definitely seems more child-like. Almost like how Shigaraki was at the beginning. (EDIT) didnt refresh my page hahaha)

I think in the original translation Mirio's "Phantom Threat" attack is actually called "Phantom Menace." I'm guessing they changed it a little for the dub because it would feel a kinda distracting to have the reference be that blatant in English. I don't mind: the reference is still there, its just less likely to take you out of the moment. Anyway, Lemillion's a badass. And gives the ultimate response to the question Midoriya asked All Might in the first episode... Yes, someone without a Quirk CAN be a hero.

I really love this episode because it really shows that you don’t need a good quirk, or a quirk at all to be a true hero. Mirio has one of the best hearts and determination in all of My Hero, which is what makes him so damn difficult to beat. Even though he doesn’t have a quirk anymore, he’s continuing to protect Eri !! That’s just amazing. Love this episode!
