Yes, the crook shot twice, first bullet hit Amajiki, then Kirishima jumped in the way. And you've heard about the quirk boosting drugs before, the device that the Two Heroes movie was based around was an attempt at replicating their effects without any of the side effects of them.

I don't know if I'd say he's gullible, exactly, I think more like he's quick to empathise with people. So he needs to learn to shut out that urge out when dealing with criminals and villains. Or at least make sure they're restrained properly before he tries to talk to them.

2020-04-06 00:40:04 +0000 UTCheck yea! i was waiting for this one! i absolutely adore kirishima. this episode really shines a light on his character and how the bold manly man attitude he wears may not be all there is to him. tamaki and him are actually more alike than they seem. he definitely needs to work on letting his guard down like that, but i think it’s pretty sweet that the big issue we see is him literally being too nice. he was so quick to show compassion and empathy to that villain. it bit him in the ass and he should be more careful in the future, but i love how soft the boy with a hardening quirk is. it’s also really cool to see how bakugou inspires him and bakugou actually being encouraging and not putting up with him talking down about himself. it’s nice to see the gremlin show he cares lol. a lot of people missed it i think but what happened in that scene with the gun was two shots were fired. the first hit tamaki in the arm and then the second kirishima blocked. the dub voice actor for tamaki is one of my favorites. i love aaron dismuke. but some of the translations for his lines are kind of odd compared to the sub. i’ve noticed in the dub the translations sometimes make him seem a bit more like a jerk, while in the sub it seemed clearer that he’s just incredibly shy and self conscious. that may just be my perception tho. loved the video and excited to hear your thoughts as you watch. looking forward to later reactions! hope you and your loved ones are staying safe and healthy.
